If DDR5-6000 Isn’t Your Sweet Spot, Try DDR5-7200

In theory the higher the frequency of your memory, the happier your Intel system is.  That is the theory behind Team’s T-Force Delta RGB DDR5-7200 32GB dual channel kit.  The kit sports timings of 34-42-42-84 2T and a fairly hefty $275 price tag.  RGB lovers will appreciate the size of the translucent lighting area, and those who dislike boring shapes will like that Team have continued with their angled design.

TweakTown tested the RAM at the default XMP settings, as well as reducing the CAS to 32 and overclocking the A-die SK Hynix ICs to DDR5-7467 to give you an idea what to expect.  AIDA loved all three scenarios, with noticeably higher bandwidth and impressively low latencies.  In real world performance, apart from one burp in 3DMark, the T-Force Delta RGB DDR5-7200 took top spot, though you would need to run a lot of Cinebench to really notice a difference.

If the price doesn’t immediately scare you off, this kit does do a little more than just give you bragging rights; certainly something measurable, but perhaps not very noticeable.
