The Glorious Model O 2 Arrives Four Years After The Original

It’s Certainly Glorious But Is It Splendiferous?

Fans of the original take note, for the Glorious Model O 2 is now available for $65.  The new mouse uses the BAMF 2.0 sensor, more oftne known as the PixArt PAW3395 which can be adjusted from 100 up to 26,000 CPI.  The two main buttons use Kailh GM 8.0 switches, the remaining four are unspecified and the wheel itself is mechanical.  You can adjust the polling rate from 100 to 1000Hz, not as high as some others but certainly enough to minimize input lag.

The software it comes with does more than just control the lighting effects, you can manually set your CPI if you wish and there is also a way to adjust the debounce time if you are having double click issues.  TechPowerUp’s test show the Glorious Model 0 2 to be a decent mouse, but not impressive and with the current pricing they can’t recommend the O2 over the original model.

With the ambidextrous Model O 2, Glorious's Model O gets a full makeover. The main buttons have been redesigned, the sensor upgraded to the BAMF 2.0, and the weight lowered to 57 g. Furthermore, the Model O 2 is now fully compatible with Glorious Core.
