FSP Hydro Ti Pro 1000W, A More Reasonable ATX 3.0 And PCIe 5.0 PSU

New PSU Features At 850W And 1000W

Many of the PSUs we’ve seen that support PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 have had very high voltages and thus a very high price.  FSP is offering two models at more reasonable wattages for the majority of us, however the prices remain high.  The 1000W model is currently $350 with the 850W variant at $300.  The new features on the Hydro Ti Pro still cost a pretty penny even if it does come with a 10 year warranty.

For that price you get an 80 Plus and Cybenetics Titanium certificate and they included a VHPWR cable, not to mention case stickers.  The power delivery is top notch, as you’d expect for the cost, impressively stable voltages will make this a good overclocking PSU.  The Hydro Ti Pro is also quiet, barely being audible until 75% when it’s noise increases to 35dBA, topping out at 38dBA under full load and at 150mm long doesn’t take up much space either.

If the cost hasn’t chased you off, the full review is up at Guru of 3D.

Today we're putting the new FSP Hydro Ti Pro 1000W (ATX 3.0) power supply on our test bench. The Hydro Ti Pro debuted in April '23 and consisted of two variants, with an output of 850 and 1000 W.
