A sixteen-second teaser was published on both NVIDIA’s GeForce YouTube channel as well as their GeForce Twitter account. The video shows a camera floating over a metal object. The word “Super” is eventually revealed. That’s all for now.
The NVIDIA Super video arrived a few days before Computex and a few weeks before E3. Its style looks like a hardware reveal trailer, except that it doesn’t show hardware. Part of me wants to think that it’s a software (as in some driver feature, utility, etc.) reveal, based mostly on the name, but that does not match the time or the teaser style. On the other hand, it seems a bit early for a refresh on the higher end of parts, and all the major segments (2080, 2080 Ti, and Titan RTX) are covered.
Whatever it is, we will probably see it within the next seven days. Any guesses?
Nvidia SUPER Expensive Editions.
Twice the price for 10% the performance.
The typeface looks like some pre-2000’s performance automotive logo. Think they are showing off a self driving race car?
I’m going to guess they watched too much Macross and are making a SUPER package that straps on to the 2080 Ti.
