1080p Performance For Less Than $400

GEEKCOM have been releasing quite a few tiny PCs lately, some very powerful and expensive while others such as the A5 are very affordable.  This model is less than $400 and contains a Ryzen 7 5800H, 32GB of DDR4-3200 and a 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD.  There are other builds available if you want to customize it, including adding a second M.2 drive and a 2.5″ laptop drive as well.  As far as connectivity goes, you will find 2.5Gbe LAN, two HDMI 2.0b ports, an SD card slot, 3.5mm audio, and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports of which two are USB-C and two USB-A.  There is also WiFi 6 coming from an M.2 card, which TweakTown points out means it can be upgraded in the future.

The GEEKCOM A5 doesn’t come at the top of any benchmarks, but considering the price it punches above it’s weight.  The inclusion of HDMI 2.0b makes it a perfect HTPC and as long as you don’t ask too much of the Vega 8 IGP you can get some light gaming in as well.  The full review can be seen here.

GEEKOM's new A5, powered by AMD's Ryzen 7 5800H processor, is a low-cost option for those needing a simple Mini PC which gets the job done.
