CES 2020: ASUS Announces The Portable ZenScreen MB16ACE And TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A Display

There Are Two Swifts Tailored For Gaming Too!

ASUS revealed four monitors at CES, including the ZenScreen MB16ACE, which is a portable 1080p, 15.6″ IPS display which connects via USB-C port in either DisplayPort alternate mode or plain old USB 3.0.  The DisplayWidget software lets you tweak brightness, colour and other settings from the machine you connect this to so there is no need for OSD controls which help slim the design and keep the weight to 1.56lbs.

Also pictured above is the TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A, a 1440p IPS display which features ASUS’ Extreme Low Motion Blur and a top refresh rate of 165Hz, controlled by G-SYNC.  It also offers both GameVisual and GamePlus via the OSD, with six display presets and the ability to chose to add persistent visual elements to the screen, like a crosshair or FPS counter. 

As for the Swift models, they are not saying much but what we do know is intriguing.  The ROG Swift 360Hz G-SYNC is exactly that, a display with a peak refresh rate of 360Hz, which suggests a 1080p display as well as the 4K HDR ROG Swift PG32UQX monitor, which describes what it is in the name, but ASUS mentions it is powered by mini-LED technology which could prove to be interesting to test.
