Ryzen Pro Powered Lenovo! ThinkPad Z13
Vegan Leather Is Nice, But $2849.99?!?
If you dump the top cover, in part because almost all leather is made from vegans anyways, you drop about $1000 off the price. That is still an indiscreet charge for a Lenovo without a discrete GPU and makes one wonder if there is an undisclosed AMD tax levied against the ThinkPad Z13. Inside is a Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U capable of hitting 4.7GHz, with it’s onboard Radeon 680M handling graphics duties. The 32GB of memory is indeed DDR5-6400, though it is soldered on and local storage is handled by a 512GB Gen4 NVMe SSD.
The performance is quite nice, with the only letdowns coming from synthetic memory and storage benchmarks compared to Intel. On the other hand, 670 minutes of battery life is quite impressive for a laptop with this type of configuration. The 13.3″ 1080p laptop weighs just over 2.6lbs and sports USB 4 connectivity, albeit those are the only two ports on the laptop apart from a headset plug.
If it wasn’t for the price tag this laptop would definitely be recommended, as it is the price tag seems unjustified. Check it out for yourself at Teawktown.
Lenovo's ThinkPad Z13 laptop is our first look at an AMD Ryzen Pro-powered device, but it left us wanting more considering the steep asking price.

You’re right – nearly 28 days of battery life is quite impressive. Does it include an arc reactor?
d’oh, that was supposed to be femtoseconds wasn’t it 😉
