It's time for the PCPer Mailbag, our weekly show where Ryan and the team answer your questions about the tech industry, the latest and greatest GPUs, the process of running a tech review website, and more!

04:24 – M.2 SSD performance: motherboard vs. PCIe adapter?
05:47 – Max length for a USB cable?
07:07 – SUPoX motherboards absent from US market?

Thanks for answering my question Josh about the power supply I was able to buy a 2015 Corsair 450 and found an AT to ATX adaptor on ebay which worked

A long time ago, Nvidia demonstrated a
“soft physics” demo.
A squishy worm monster coming after you that
was extremely effective in creeping me out!
I was thrilled at the thought of seeing such in my games.
What happened, have never seen anything like it again.
Thanks,

Great Mailbag Josh!
Don’t you
Great Mailbag Josh!
Don’t you worry, we oldtimers will stick around as long as JoshTek gives us the hard facts of reality 😀
Why? Morbid curiosity.

I never thought my stupid
I never thought my stupid question would be answered.
For the record my money was on Josh.
I have a question, or two,
I have a question, or two, about AM4 motherboards that are Factory Made to support AMD’s Raven Ridge FULL feature set and come with the correct Full Complement of onboard Video Standards Outputs supported by desktop Raven Ridge. When will those AM4 motherboards be available with that full in the motherboard’s hardware support for all the Video output latest standards that the Raven Ridge desktop APU SKUs support in their APU hardwre.
Will I have to wait for the MB’s with the 400 series chipsets to get the best support? And I ask this because I want the AM4 MB with the best out of the box Real/Full Raven Ridge APU full feature set support and not some MB that requires any BIOS flashing or that does not support the Raven Ridge APU hardware’s latest video standards/video output, sound standards also, support.
I’m not ready to build my Raven Ridge system without an SKU# or IPC# of an AM4 motherboard that’s specifically designed with Desktop Raven Ridge’s Full Feature Set in mind at a minimum but can maybe also support any Ryzen 2000 series CPUs also, as long as the AM4 MB supports all of Raven Ridge’s features completely.
Used to love Fuddruckers
Used to love Fuddruckers before it closed in my town. One pound with bacon and cheese, then load it up with great dill pickles and mustard. Meal meal for the day. Worst was the one time I tried In-N-Out Burgers just after they opened a new restuarant near our terminal in Fontana, CA. It tasted like cardboard. The microwave burgers in a convience store had more taste than that monstrocity at In-N-Out.
Josh, I watch to see your cat wander in and out of your room in the background.
