Wireless video streaming is nothing new to PC Perspective, in 2010 we saw Intel’s WiDi technology and Ryan was streaming 1080p Iron Man using the Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 WHDI card (aka Little Cthulhu). A new way to achieve the same results is with the brite-View Air SyncHD which Missing Remote just reviewed. Read on to see if this is worth ~$230 of your hard earned money.
"If wirelessly transmitting a Blu-ray stream (which tops out around 50mbps) is questionable, transmitting uncompressed 1080p/60 video seems downright impossible. Yet, that is exactly what brite-View claims to do with their Air SyncHD transmission kit. In a nutshell, the brite-View Air SyncHD transmission kit promises to wirelessly bridge an HDMI source device and HDMI receiving device, freeing you to place the devices anywhere within the system’s wireless range. Further, the system manages to send 1080p/60 video, audio and infrared (IR) with less than one millisecond latency up to 66 feet. It sounds great on paper, but can it deliver?"
Here are some more Display articles from around the web:

About two months ago I purchased a Galaxy 460 WHDI from Newegg. It has been a very trying two months with the card.
I could only use the DVI side of the output of the Galaxy 460 since I couldn’t find the proper output cable for the HDMI/Diplay output. Finally got the cable and the display adabter side did not work. The 460 went RMA back to the manufacturer. Got the second card which was DOA on WIFI.
The card never did activate the wireless function. Constantly got the “Network Connect Failed, check device is ready” message. Worst of all every time I tried to shut down the PC I would get a Stop (Blue Sreen) and the PC would reboot. Had to unplug the PC to shut down. Contacted Galaxy by phone. The tech could not help me because he did not have the product on test bench to work through the problems. He recommend to continue using support e-mail to deal with Galaxy. Still waiting for a response. To add insult to injury my PC finnally crashed. Had to format the drive and reload Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Restored data files from back , now all files are locked access denied. The horrors never seem to stop.
System:
Asus P5Q3 Deluxe. Intel Q8400, 8GB crucial.
Four Seagate 700GB HDs, System, Data, Backup, Video.
Samsung SyncMaster 27″.
