I can say I have been super pleased with Z97 Classified since I installed Win 10 in UEFI mode, I found it would have problems booting in legacy mode with SLI enabled. Since making the OS/BIOS change it's been rock solid. I too am fine the lack of RGB and the clean black look.

For me, that maybe is one of the reasons I will go for an EVGA motherboard as the next upgrade. Since I prefer opaque and silenced pc cases, I could care less even if the pcb was green, as long as it is stable and the company supports it. I wonder with the other companies launching new mobos every week, for a year at the z170 chipset, what QC and bug reporting they got, and how much time do they spend on each m/b support.

I have personally owned Z87
I have personally owned Z87 Classified and i'm fan in general of EVGA Z87 and Z97 motherboards but i think it's time for EVGA to step up their motherboard game . Not that i'm a huge fan of RBG etc but since Z170 EVGA motherboard design is starting to become old .
