MSI CEO, Charles Chiang, has passed away due to injuries after falling from their office in Taipei, Taiwan. He was promoted to this position in January 2019 after running their Desktop Platform Business Division. He was 56 years old and he was with MSI for over 20 years.
Guru3D is reporting that he was found on the ground by MSI security at 2 PM local time while they were investigating a loud noise. He was rushed to hospital, but they were unable to save him. Police are investigating the cause of the incident. TVBS News reports (Chinese) that he did not leave a suicide note, but there was also no sign of break-in.
As far as I know, MSI has not named an interim replacement.
