HP And Lenovo Go 4K

AMD has released specifications on their three new 7nm, 15W Ryzen 4000 processors which you will find in certain HP and Lenovo ultraportables before the end of summer. This is a fair sized win for AMD as you have not been able to pick up a choice of Ryzen powered products from either company in quite some time.  HP will be releasing the HP ProBook 445 G7, ProBook 455 G7 and ProBook x360 435 G7, sometime before the year is half up, while Lenovo will offer you a choice of ThinkPads, including the T14 and T14s, an L13 and L14, and finally an X13.

As you can see above, all processors core counts have increased since the previous generation, with the Ryzen 3 adding multi-threading and the Ryzen 7 model doubling it’s cores.  The lower base clock is used to improve power efficiency, AMD states the Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U offers up to two times the performance per watt compared to the previous generation and should offer you around 20 hours of battery life, depending on the size of your battery of course.

As these are Pro models they offer a variety of features for Enterprise, including full compatibility with Microsoft Endpoint Manager.  As with previous Pro models, AMD’s Memory Guard and other on chip security measures are in place and configurable to allow them to work with any of your existing security infrastructure.
