It Really Was a Limited Edition
The title may seem like clickbait, but Intel really has officially discontinued their Arc A770 graphics card. As in, their Limited Edition, Intel-branded graphics card. The GPU is safe, and partners can (presumably) still order the GPU and make their own versions.

This news explains why the Arc A770 LE remains “out of stock” at newegg, and obviously won’t return – outside of inflated 3rd party sellers. Already on Amazon the A770 LE is $455. It was good while it lasted, but if you were on the fence about buying one, it’s going to be tough to find one at even the non-sale $369.99 USD price.
While more partners could still emerge (I’m looking at you EVGA!), the current reality is that only two vendors – ASRock and Acer (BIWIN) – make an Arc A770 card. Prices are good, with the ASRock Phantom Gaming Arc A770 just $310.50 on Newegg, and the Acer Predator BiFrost Arc A770 currently $339.99 on Newegg. We will see how long A770 GPUs remain available, as Intel seems focused on promoting the A750 these days (based on their recent Tweets).
